Visit Mooresville Announces Tourism Development Manager

Visit Mooresville welcomes our new Tourism Development Manager, Ashlee Rust. She joined the team in March 2026. 

Ashlee Rust brings a passion for hospitality and a deep love for creating meaningful connections to her role with Visit Mooresville. With extensive experience in the hotel industry, she has spent her career helping destinations, hotels, and partners craft memorable guest experiences while fostering strong community and business relationships.

Ashlee believes hospitality is ultimately about people—welcoming them, connecting them, and creating places they want to return to again and again. While she is proud of her professional journey in the industry she loves, she is equally passionate about using what she’s learned to create special moments with her friends and family, celebrating both life’s little joys and its biggest milestones.
