Lake Norman Philharmonic Holiday Concert

The 49th Annual Working Fingers Craft Show will take place on Saturday, November 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Charles Mack Citizen Center. This holiday-shopping event brings together talented makers from near and far and features a wide array of handmade items such as jewelry, home décor, clothing, baked goods and lotions.

Bands, Brews, & BBQ features mouth-watering BBQ crafted by local culinary masters from regional BBQ food trucks. The festival also features a Family Fun Zone Presented by Piedmont Healthcare, offering amusement rides, games, and activities for attendees of all ages.

2025 FIELD OF FLAGS SUMMER CELEBRATION
Every July 4th, the LKN community comes together to celebrate, and the Field of Flags Summer Celebration is a "must see" event! The Field of Flags commemorates our Veterans, fallen/active service members, and First Responders who serve our country. The American-made flags are proudly displayed annually from July 2-5 on the front lawn of the Lowe’s YMCA. A celebration featuring a ceremony, concert, and fireworks is held each July 3.
The beloved community event started in 2005, when the Exchange Club of Mooresville - Lake Norman placed 450 flags on the football field of Mooresville High School, and just keeps evolving and expanding. Each year since 2021, we have placed over 800 American-made flags on the field of the Lowe's YMCA.
You are invited to visit the Field of Flags day or night. Freely walk the rows of flags among the very names of just a few of the men and women who have kept and continue to keep us safe and free. We are eager for you to join us as we celebrate our great nation and those who protect our freedoms!
Great Race Evening Stop
Join us as the 2025 Hemmings Motor News Great Race presented by Coker Tire will roll into Downtown Mooresville. The Great Race also stopped in Downtown Mooresville in 2021. The Great Race is the world’s premiere old car rally, and 120 of the world’s finest antique automobiles will take part in the annual adventure. Pre-arrival ceremony begins at 5:10pm while Great Race cars begin arriving at approximately 5:25pm. Prior to the Great Race kick-off festivities, a local car show is being organized, details to come.
Lake Norman Big Band
The concert/dance area is enclosed and separated from the bowling alley so that sound from the lanes does not disrupt the music. Shows are held on the third Monday of each month from 7:00 - 9:00 PM (Buffet Service begins 6:00 PM). Dinner seating is available at booths, regular tables, and high tops. Limited seating is also available at the bar.

Juneteenth Event
This family-friendly event is proudly presented by the Eastern Heights Community Watch and promises an afternoon of community, culture, and connection.
Juneteenth, a holiday that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States, is a time to celebrate unity and progress. The Mooresville event will have games, food, and activities while offering a welcoming space for fellowship and fun.
Event organizers are bringing the community together for a lively and welcoming event that features delicious hamburgers and hot dogs grilled by Mooresville Fire & Rescue, local vendors, live music, and a variety of activities for all ages to enjoy.
All community members are welcome to attend this free event and be part of a special day
