Prepare to be scared at some of the spooky events around Mooresville this Halloween. From haunted trails to street festivals, some events are admittedly more gastric than ghastly, so everyone is sure to find their version of how to do Halloween. Scarrigan Farms

Widely reviewed as one of the scariest haunted trails in the region, the 275 acre Carrigan Farms is transformed into a heart pumping trail of horrors every October. Not a trail for kids, no one under age 12 is admitted. Creepy clowns? Check. Chainsaw wielding masked terrorizers? Check, check. Children of the corn? Yup. Reservations are required to hold your place and can be made on the website at scarriganfarms.com/reservations. For those who are looking for less adrenaline-fueled activities, the pumpkin patch and sunflower fields are open during the day.

Downtown Mooresville Candy Grab

Friday, October 29 : 3pm – 5pm

Main St & Broad St
Downtown Mooresville

A seriously CRAZY number of kids (and adults) pour into downtown Mooresville for the annual Halloween Candy Grab event. Dressed in their best costumes, trick or treaters visit the downtown businesses for candy between 3pm – 5pm. It’s a fun tradition that the business owners enjoy as much as the kids!

Boos & Brews Street Festival

Friday, October 29  :  5pm – 9pm

HealthReach Community Clinic
400 E. Statesville Avenue, Mooresville

A free, family-friendly event that features live music from Dial Up Radio, local craft brews, food trucks and vendors, and plenty of games and activities, the fun festival also supports the HealthReach Community Clinic. There will be treats for every age, and it just happens to follow the Candy Grab in downtown Mooresville, so after trick or treating you can head to the festival and keep the fun going!

Halloween at Langtree

Friday, October 29  :  5pm – 7pm

Langtree Lake Norman
401 Langtree Rd, Mooresville

Trick or Treat in Langtree and then stick around for the drive-in movie. Casper the Friendly Ghost will be playing, and you’ll already have your snacks. The movie is $5 per car, trick or treating is free.

Halloween Brew-BOO Tour

Saturday, October 30  :  noon – 6:30pm

The Kilted Buffalo in Langtree

There’s nothing frightening about touring breweries and sampling their goods! The ever popular Brew Ha Ha Tours is at it once again, this time featuring four breweries and complimentary pizza from Ghostface Pizza. The tour includes stops at D9 Brewing, Lost Worlds, Beer Lab by Ghostface and Hoptown Brewery. Each attendee gets two souvenir pint glasses, three tastings at each venues, two behind the scenes VIP brewery tours, as well as deluxe transportation and door prizes! Stay for dinner at Novanta 90 Pizza once you return, and keep the party going with a costume party with DJ and prizes at the Kilted Buffalo later in the evening. This event will really bowl you over! ???? Come out to Victory Lanes for a Paint-A-Pin contest, a Halloween adult/youth tournament, and Trunk or Treat from 3pm – 5pm. Prizes will be awarded to the best decorated car. Wear your most creative costumes and stay for a game or two.
