Anchored by the North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame induction ceremony, this festival celebrates America’s love of speed. With race cars, current and vintage hot rods, food trucks, live music, and the greatest names in auto racing history, this is an event you do not want to miss.
An exclusive exhibit on the Charles Mack Citizen Center will feature historic racing photography and rare artifacts, highlighting the people in North Carolina that helped establish NASCAR as a must-see American sporting event.

MoTownCon is returning for our third year, bringing Mooresville another fun-filled day of cosplay, comics, and anime! Despite the threat of Hurricane Ian last year, we had an AMAZING turnout! We packed AmStar Cinemas and quickly outgrew that space!
This venue gives us the space we need to grow! We are excited to be able to have more vendors, more itashas, a stage area for our cosplay contest and many more NEW additions to keep you entertained! Please join us on Saturday, October 7th, 2023 for Year 3 of MoTownCon.

NC Music Hall of Fame Induction

North Carolina Music Hall of Fame inductions take place annually to honor music legends with roots in North Carolina. The 2023 class scheduled to be enshrined during the annual induction ceremony on October 19 at the Mooresville (N.C.) Performing Arts Center are:
- Scotty McCreery
- Loudon Wainwright III
- George Beverly Shea
- Betty Davis
- Bill “Fatback” Curtis
- Fetchin Bones
Our annual induction ceremony is a commemorative occasion where music industry professionals who have made a significant impact on American Music are introduced as new members of our Hall of Fame. The inductees this year are Roger Penske and Edsel Ford. The ceremony will feature each inductee’s acceptance of their induction, video presentations, and live performances.
