Juneteenth Event

Mooresville residents are invited to come together in honor of Juneteenth at a community celebration on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Willow Valley Park. This family-friendly event is proudly presented by the Eastern Heights Community Watch and promises an afternoon of community, culture, and connection.

Juneteenth, a holiday that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States, is a time to celebrate unity and progress. The Mooresville event will have games, food, and activities while offering a welcoming space for fellowship and fun.

 Event organizers are bringing the community together for a lively and welcoming event that features delicious hamburgers and hot dogs grilled by Mooresville Fire & Rescue, local vendors, live music, and a variety of activities for all ages to enjoy.
