Lake Norman’s first dedicated Climbing Facility features more than 20,000 square feet of climbing terrain surfaces for all skill levels including: indoor & outdoor climbing surfaces, 50-foot climbing walls, 3,500 square feet of top-out bouldering, rope & lead climbing, rappelling, indoor 15 meter speed wall, designated children’s climbing section, Yoga studio, plus Café & Bar, fireplace & lounge area, meeting rooms and more! Cliff Hangers hosts climbing leagues, competitive events, birthday parties, team building exercises, and other community events.
A can’t miss for any race fan, offering the latest and most exciting rental karts for Arrive-and-Drive opportunities. The 25 Adult Rental Karts (Ages 16+) are capable of speeds over 55 mph on a 0.7-mile, outdoor, 11-turn track. Open to the public 7 days a week, year-round, the Arrive-and-Drive rental kart program requires no reservations and is the simplest and most cost-effective way to experience the excitement of high-performance karting on a world-class racetrack.
Did You Know: The Trackhouse Motorplex sprint karting track is based on the famous and historic Kartdromo Parma circuit in Italy. The European circuit was first built in 1961 and over the decades grew to host five World Championships and four European Championships. Today, this facility in Mooresville hosts some of the largest professional touring karting series races in the country, making it the premier source for all things karting at every level of the sport.
Every year during race week in May, the track hosts The Little 600, a test of the skills of current and former NASCAR drivers who battle it out on the track in the rental fleet. The event is a fan favorite as a way to get close to the racing action and score a few photos and autographs from the drivers.

Lake Norman’s preeminent indoor shooting sports facility and firearms pro shop, Point Blank Range features a 25 yard range with 15 shooting lanes. Firearm rentals and classes available.
The current course, intended to mimic a Scottish “Links” style course, features a new layout with a links style golf experience. The upgrades include: 70 bunkers, 5.2 miles of concrete cart paths, a dual-sided driving range and short game practice area. It also includes double row irrigation with over 1,200 sprinkler heads.
The new Mooresville Golf Club features a 17,000+ sq. ft. club house complete with restaurant, snack bar & grill, pro shop, outdoor seating and garage facility to house golf carts with top of the line GPS systems.
Located on the shores of Lake Norman, this 6900-yard championship golf course offers a challenging game to any player. Tee times are required, please call for reservations.
This 48,000 square foot family entertainment center features 40 bowling lanes, a full-service restaurant, arcade, and a 15-table billiard lounge.
Enjoy swimming, boating, fishing and camping on the state’s largest man-made lake. Enjoy beautiful views of Lake Norman as you hike or mountain bike on the 30.5 miles of nature trails. Boat rentals have been expanded to include stand up paddle boards and kayaks.
