Memory Lane Motorsports & Historical Automotive Museum

This auto museum features the largest private collection of retired NASCAR and vintage race cars on display in existence. View many one of a kind items, including a large collection of antique toys, pedal cars, bicycles, gas pumps, movie cars, tractors and vintage motorcycles, plus the largest known collection of racing Go-Karts in the world.

NASCAR Technical Institute
NASCAR Tech is the country’s first technical training school to blend both a complete automotive and complete Motorsports technology program together and carry the NASCAR name. In addition, they launched a state of the industry welding program in 2022.
NC Auto Racing Walk of Fame
Walk among the legends at The NC Auto Racing Walk of Fame! Sidewalk markers honor many of racing’s legends and greats, including Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt, Junior Johnson, and more.
North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame

PIT Indoor Kart Track
Experience an adrenaline rush at the nation’s largest indoor kart track. This 100,000 square foot facility features karts that sit only an inch off the track and are capable of speeds up to 40 mph. PIT also offers black-light mini-golf, laser tag arena, cannonball airblaster, huge arcade, climbing wall, baseball batting cages and billiards. Come experience the BRAND NEW Karts!!!
PIT Instruction and Training
PIT Instruction and Training offers individuals and groups the chance to get up close and personal with the fastest 13 seconds in sports! In addition to memorabilia and race cars, you will see today’s racing professionals in action and the over-the-wall stars of tomorrow practice their skills.
Team Penske
Penske Racing’s state-of-the-art facility houses their NASCAR teams as well as the Indy Car and ALMS teams. Fans can view the NASCAR race shop through the viewing windows and then move upstairs to the 330-foot fan walk to view the race shop including the NASCAR truck bay, set up plates and work stations as employees prepare the race cars. Fans may even catch a view of their favorite driver as he walks through the shop.
Trackhouse Motorplex
A can’t miss for any race fan, offering the latest and most exciting rental karts for Arrive-and-Drive opportunities. The 25 Adult Rental Karts (Ages 16+) are capable of speeds over 55 mph on a 0.7-mile, outdoor, 11-turn track. Open to the public 7 days a week, year-round, the Arrive-and-Drive rental kart program requires no reservations and is the simplest and most cost-effective way to experience the excitement of high-performance karting on a world-class racetrack.
Did You Know: The Trackhouse Motorplex sprint karting track is based on the famous and historic Kartdromo Parma circuit in Italy. The European circuit was first built in 1961 and over the decades grew to host five World Championships and four European Championships. Today, this facility in Mooresville hosts some of the largest professional touring karting series races in the country, making it the premier source for all things karting at every level of the sport.
Every year during race week in May, the track hosts The Little 600, a test of the skills of current and former NASCAR drivers who battle it out on the track in the rental fleet. The event is a fan favorite as a way to get close to the racing action and score a few photos and autographs from the drivers.
